Provincetown trip 1

So in one week, I drove to Provincetown, and stayed for one night, twice.  That's about 10 hours of driving, because for those who are unfamiliar Ptown is the knuckle of Cape Cods flexing arm.  The first trip, was a last minute mid-week friendship celebration at Emily's (family's) amazing cape house in Wellfleet.  Her boyfriend had just returned from tour, and they spent a long weekend there to celebrate her birthday.  The stars aligned Wednesday night, and "the four of us" (me, Erin B, Erin W and Emily) were free to go down, along with Erin W's boyfriend Risto.  So around 6 pm I picked up Erin Barry (who, by the way, I have been friends with for 20 years now) and we headed down the cape.

When we got there, the rest of the group had just finished playing mini golf, so we met them for ice cream in downtown Wellfleet.  When we got back to the house we stayed up until 2 am playing The Sticky Head Game, Fishbowl and Pictionary.  I am always so happy when we are all together, they've all been my friends for so long, and I know I can count on them being there for the rest of my life.

The next morning, Erin W and Risto left early, and the rest of us headed back into Wellfleet for breakfast and a little shopping.  I found a copy of Life magazine from the opening week of Disney World at a thrift shop.  From there, Erin and I headed into Ptown and got some coffee while we walked around Commercial St.

Before we drove home that afternoon, I took some pictures of Emily's house.  It's just so perfect, and so Cape Cod.  Maybe her parents will adopt me so we can no longer be two only children, and then I can inherit the house someday.. hm...

Provincetown trip 2 coming soon...
