Cast of Characters

Troupe of Actors? Bit Players? Here is where I (hopefully) welcome new readers to my blog, with a little bit about me, and the characters that will come up often in writing about my life and adventures.  I apologize in advance.. I don't often let others take my photo, and when they do I don't ask them to send it to me.  Therefore, I was left with the awkward task of photographing myself, which is far outside of my comfort zone.  As to not give my neighbors fodder to ponder my sanity I chose not to take my camera outside and set up the self timer - so therefore you are stuck in a dreaded photobooth snap of me sitting in my kitchen, trying not to look posed (which of course I am)

So there you have it, that's me - Amanda.  I'll give you the first date bio - I'm 23, I'm a Liberal Arts major at Umass Lowell.  My concentrations are Philosophy and Psychology.  I plan to get my Master's in Social Work after graduation.  I live in a 170 year old house in Massachusetts with my two hairy roomates Holly and Peter.

I have a boyfriend, his name is Tre.  ( I guess now our first date is kind of awkward, right?)  We've been together for a while.  He's pretty OK and he does a good job being my boyfriend.  He's also grumpy.

He has a dog.  She's a big white baby named Alabama.  I usually call her princess, or dog dog.  She works as Tre's secretary and sleeps on the floor of his office at work all day long.

So, that's us.  We are mostly dogs, and some of us are humans and life is pretty cool.  I hope you'll follow along on our adventures, and my foray into etsy where I sell vintage articles with a New England flair in my shop Motif Number One.
