Weekend v. 1.0

We did a lot this weekend so I'll break it up into three posts.  It was really nice to have a "regular" weekend, not permeated by work or other obligations.  I got out of work early Friday so Tre and I went for some dinner at Veggie Galaxyhttp://www.veggiegalaxy.com/ in Cambridge.  I was lucky enough to run into my favorite baby bear, Elinor, who is the offspring of my friend Caitlin who blogs over at Fourth St Payphone.  I got my regular vegan mac n cheese.

Saturday we went to check out a small farm for sale in Boxford.  It was beautiful, it had two small barns - one for horses, one for sheep/goats/pigs - but the land was awkward and not suitable for growing food.  After that we headed up to Concord, NH to try out Cafe Indigo.  It was in an awkward industrial office park, and the inside had the decor of a college apartment - but the food and service were phenomenal which is what really counts.    I had a seitan pepper steak wrap, Tre had soysage quesadilla - and we took home a ton of cookies/whoopie pies and a tray of frozen mac n "cheese" to bake for dinner at a future date.  Saturday night ended with snuggling a similin' pup and (re)watching Breaking Bad.
