An afternoon in...(Weekend v. 1.2)

This post will double as part 2/3 of my weekend and as an "Afternoon In" post.  That being said, we spent Sunday in Portsmouth.  First we stopped at the Portsmouth Best Western at a record collectors show - really, Tre stopped at a record collectors show and I shadowed him.  It was everything you can probably imagine it to be, all together totally worth the $3 admission we paid even if just for the people watching.  After, we headed to.. (no surpises here) The Friendly Toast!  I knew my readers would just love another iPhone shot of my tofu scram taken at a 45° angle.

By that time I was in desperate need of coffee, and luckily for me - Portsmouth is home to Breaking New Grounds, where they cold brew iced coffee.  After that we wandered into Le Roux, a gourmet kitchen store.  And Oh. My. God.  They had an unfathomable collection of their own balsamic vinegar, olive oil, truffle oil (swoon!)  We spent slightly longer than our 15 minute parking spot allowed us tasting things like white peach balsamic vinegar, black cherry balsamic vinegar, chipotle olive oil and black truffle oil.  I snagged a bottle of 18 year balsamic and we headed back to the car where we ran/walked to tackle (intercept, really) the parking gestapo who literally said "damn you" when we cut him off from writing us a ticket.
