This weekends food deserves a posts of it's own. Friday at the show our friend James was there with his grilled cheese truck - Roxy's. You might recognize him and the truck from The Great Food Truck Race! Tre brought some vegan cheese so James made us sandwiches with Daiya, tomato and rosemary and toasted the bread with truffle oil. It was amazing, and we also got a side of my favorite truffle oil and rosemary french fries.
Saturday morning we got juice and breakfast to go from Organic Garden.
At Veggie Galaxy we diverted from the regular, for once. Sloppy Jane's were the special of the night an I couldn't resist. Tre was on a mission to get vegan eggs benedict. We topped it all off with milkshakes, and rolled ourselves home after that.
A few weeks ago our friend Nate recommended Mr. India in Newburyport that has a full Himalayan menu, and Sunday we decided to check it out. It was incredible - We started with garlic, mint and onion naan and I got a vegetable thukpa and Tre got royal vegetarian bhansa. I'm seriously regretting letting Tre keep my leftovers right now...
