Weekend Finds

from left: scottish tartan scarf, needlepoint pillow, epcot opening day book, stonybrook gristmill cornmeal, brewster general store mug, kitchen towels, multicolor pyrex mixing bowls (!), vintage blouses
This past Saturday we headed to the Cape for some thrifting.  The problem with thrifting is that it's like going to the grocery store when you're starving - you don't really know what you want, and you don't know exactly what they have - but I bet you whatever they have is something I want!  And the prices are great! and the money supports charities that do great work! but a little plus a little plus a little more always adds up to a lot - a lot of stuff, and a lot of money.  Liking cool stuff is a pain, life is a pain

  1. Great finds! Those Pyrex mixing bowls have me drooling over my keyboard ;) I have a set of just two mixing/serving bowls and one that my mom received as a wedding present in '84 - I love them so much. So sturdy too - I dropped one full of caramelized onion dip really hard on the pavement recently and the thing didn't even chip!
