Coppa

So Saturday evening Tre and I were texting about what we felt like doing for the evening (I was planning to drive up to his house) because his mom had offered to buy us dinner.  I half jokingly suggested our friend Jamie's restaurant, Coppa and Tre totes bit the bait and 90 mins later we were eating more of the most amazing food ever.  Luckily for you guys, the days are pretty long here and for the first time we got there and ate while it was still light out, so I was finally able to snap pics of one of our meals with my iPhone. (however, we were reeeeeaaaallly hungry so I didn't spare a second to pause and consider composition, so they aren't great)

Funghi Marinati / Marinated mushrooms with Eva’s herbs

Cavolfiore / Marinated cauliflower with shallots, thyme, and sea salt $6

Insalata di Asparagi /Shaved asparagus, fava beans, lemon

crostini with pistachio pesto (not on the menu)

Farro con Verdura / Wheat berries with cucumber, fiddlehead ferns, sorrel and carrots (and watermelon radishes!)

House made orecchiette pasta with some kind of crazy flavor explosion tomato sauce (not on the menu)

Wood fired pizza with shallots, green onions and some other crazy foods.  (not on the menu)

So if you're ever in Boston, and you're looking for a great night out head straight to Toro or Coppa.  Keep in mind that they do not take reservations, and on the weekend the wait is normally 2-3 hours, so you have two options A) put your name in early, and they will call you when your table is ready or B) invite me to come with you, and I'll pull some strings :)
